ABOUT CENTRE

“Every Child Is Unique. Every Child Can Learn. Every Child Deserves to Shine.”

At My Junior School – Memari, this belief lies at the heart of everything we do. We strive to provide a safe, joyful, caring and stimulating learning environment where every child feels valued, confident and encouraged to explore, discover and express themselves.

We believe that the early years form the foundation for lifelong learning. Our approach therefore focuses on learning through play, creativity, exploration, stories, activities and real-life experiences, rather than pressure or rote learning. Children are encouraged to develop curiosity, communication, independence, social skills, emotional awareness, creativity and problem-solving abilities at their own pace.

Our learning environment is designed to be bright, welcoming and child-centred, with opportunities for play, storytelling, creative expression, early concepts, social interaction and exploration. Children learn through puzzles, games, role-play, art and craft, music, hands-on activities and meaningful everyday experiences.

Our teaching approach combines play-based, child-centred, activity-based and experiential learning. Stories, rhymes, songs and role-play make learning engaging and memorable, while practical experiences help children connect classroom concepts with the world around them.

We believe that parents are important partners in a child's development. Regular parent-teacher interaction, progress updates, family participation, workshops and open communication help create a strong connection between home and school.

What makes MJS Memari special is our emphasis on love, care and respect; creativity and imagination; curiosity and exploration; sharing and teamwork; confidence and independence — with the belief that every child matters.

Our aim is not simply to prepare children for school, but to prepare them for life — with confidence, kindness, curiosity and a lifelong love for learning.

Special Educator Support

Special Educator Support

Understanding Individual Needs. Supporting Every Child.

At My Junior School – Memari, we recognise that every child is unique and may have different learning and developmental needs. The availability of a Special Educator helps provide appropriate support and guidance to children who may benefit from additional individual attention.

Through observation, age-appropriate support and interaction with parents and educators, the Special Educator can help understand individual learning needs and support children in areas where additional assistance may be beneficial.

This initiative reflects our belief that “Every Child Is Unique, Every Child Can Learn, Every Child Deserves to Shine.” Our aim is to provide an inclusive, caring and encouraging environment where every child is respected, supported and given opportunities to learn and grow at their own pace.

Parents as Partners in Learning

We believe that parents play an important role in a child's early development. Our Parent Facilitator Programme helps strengthen the partnership between parents and educators by encouraging greater understanding and participation in the child's learning journey.

Through interactions, workshops and parent-engagement activities, parents can gain useful insights into early childhood development, positive parenting and age-appropriate learning practices, while building a stronger connection between home and school.
