The Senior KG Programme equips children with the knowledge, confidence, and essential life skills required for a successful transition into formal schooling.

The curriculum integrates language, literacy, mathematics, science, environmental awareness, creativity, value education, communication, and problem-solving through hands-on, experiential learning. Children are encouraged to think independently, ask questions, analyse situations, express ideas confidently, and develop a genuine love for learning.

Aligned with the principles of NEP 2020, the programme focuses not only on academic readiness but also on developing leadership qualities, emotional intelligence, collaboration, responsibility, and self-confidence. Through continuous observation, personalised guidance, and engaging classroom experiences, every child is nurtured to become a confident, responsible, and future-ready learner.

Developmental Milestones

Children participating in the Senior KG Programme are encouraged to:

• Communicate confidently using clear, meaningful, and complete sentences.
• Read age-appropriate books independently with improving fluency and comprehension.
• Develop strong reading and writing skills by recognising, decoding, and using unfamiliar words confidently.
• Read and write words, simple sentences, and short paragraphs appropriate to their developmental level.
• Strengthen phonics, vocabulary, grammar, listening, and expressive language skills.
• Develop sound mathematical understanding through number concepts, counting, place value, measurement, time, money, patterns, sequencing, and basic addition and subtraction.
• Apply logical reasoning, observation, memory, classification, and problem-solving skills in everyday learning situations.
• Understand concepts such as direction, sequencing, time, and spatial awareness, including left and right, day and night, weekdays, months, and simple clock reading.
• Improve concentration, attention span, task completion, and independent learning habits.
• Follow multi-step instructions confidently and complete classroom activities with minimal assistance.
• Develop creativity and innovation through art, music, dance, storytelling, science experiments, project work, and experiential learning.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities, teamwork, empathy, responsibility, and respect while interacting with peers and adults.
