Home My Junior School
The early years of life are the most significant period of a child's development. Between 18 months and 6 years, the brain develops rapidly, making these years critical for building the foundation of lifelong learning, behaviour, creativity, communication, and emotional well-being.
At My Junior School, our curriculum has been carefully developed after extensive research into child development, early childhood education, and globally recognised educational philosophies. Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF), our curriculum provides a joyful, inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment where children learn naturally through play, exploration, creativity, and meaningful experiences.
Our curriculum nurtures every aspect of a child's development—including cognitive, physical, social, emotional, language, creative, moral, and life skills—ensuring holistic growth while fostering confidence, curiosity, communication, collaboration, creativity, compassion, and critical thinking.
Every child is unique and learns differently. Some children learn best by seeing, others by listening, touching, moving, experimenting, and interacting with their environment.
To accommodate diverse learning styles, My Junior School follows the LSDW Method, a multi-sensory teaching methodology that makes learning engaging, enjoyable, and meaningful.
The LSDW Method encourages children to learn through:
By combining visual, auditory, tactile, and kinaesthetic learning experiences, children develop a deeper understanding of concepts while strengthening observation, communication, creativity, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
The strength of the My Junior School curriculum lies in our proprietary SIMPLE Approach, developed through years of research and inspired by internationally recognised early childhood education philosophies.
Our curriculum thoughtfully integrates the strengths of:
By combining these proven educational practices, we create a balanced, child-centred learning experience that supports every child's unique abilities while encouraging joyful, experiential, and holistic learning.
To ensure developmentally appropriate learning, our curriculum is organised into four progressive stages:
Beginners: 18 months – 3 years
Nursery: 3 – 4 years
Junior KG: 4 – 5 years
Senior KG: 5 – 6 years
Each stage includes carefully designed learning outcomes, activities, and assessments that support children's developmental milestones and prepare them confidently for the next stage of learning.
Our trained facilitators do much more than teach alphabets and numbers. They inspire curiosity, nurture creativity, encourage exploration, build confidence, and support every child's emotional and social development.
Through continuous observation, personalised guidance, experiential learning, and strong partnerships with parents, we lay a solid foundation for lifelong learning and prepare children to become confident, compassionate, responsible, and future-ready individuals.
