My Junior School

The first six years (18 months to 6 years) of child’s life are critical years, since the rate of brain development in these years are more rapid than at any other stage of development. So, after years of R&D, we have developed such a curriculum, which provides a positive contribution to children’s long-term development and learning, by facilitating an enabling and healthy environment, in these foundation stages of lifelong learning, with a rich heritage of cultural practices, for stimulating development and inculcating “Subconscious Impression ” or basic values and social skills in children.
Our curriculum focuses on the holistic well-being of every child, by nurturing them in a child’s age appropriate, rich, fun-filled learning environment, that ensure the interactive teaching and learning aids,  skillfully implemented, to foster all round development, which is referred to as SIMPLE approach of development.

LSDW Method
As every child is unique and born with some unique potentials, they learn by various ways i.e. visual, hearing, speaking, touching, tasting, smelling,  doing, etc. There are mainly 4 types of learning style i.e.

  • Visual (learn through seeing)
  • Auditory (learn through hearing)
  • Tactile (learn through touch)
  • Kinesthetic (learn through doing and moving)

So, we at My Junior School follow LSDW method, to deliver our curriculum and ensure / achieve learning goals.

SIMPLE Approach – Fostering Holistic Development

The nobility of our curriculum lies in its SIMPLE Approach, which is the result of years of extensive work of our R & D team of academic professionals, on child developmental milestones and the various principles of educational theories.

SIMPLE approach has been evolved from pro-active practices of 8 leading and world-wide recognized  thoughts on Early Childhood and Preschool Education and Care, viz.

1.Montessori Method

2.Project Method

3.Play–Way Method

4.Thematic Method

5.Multiple Intelligence Method

6.Reggio Emilia Method

7.Waldorf Method

8.Bank Street Method.

For us at My Junior School, every child matters. So it’s our responsibility to identify their unique potentials and explore the same in the way they want, so that foundation for life-long learning could be built, and they could become confident individuals.
To facilitate the child with the right kind of learning at the appropriate age, our curriculum has been divided into following stages :
Beginners  : Age 18 months to 3 years
Nursery     : Age 3 years to 4 years
Junior KG  : Age 4 years to 5 years
Senior KG : Age 5 years to 6 years
Our well trained facilitators play an important role in building a child’s success, by achieving their developmental milestones, in their first 3-4 years of preschool education. Mentors do more than facilitate a child, by teaching them alphabets, numbers, art & crafts etc. They provide a complete care, and help children to build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
