Introduction to Vedic Mathematics

Vedic Mathematics is an ancient system of mathematics that has its roots in the Vedas, the oldest scriptures of Hindu philosophy. This system simplifies complex mathematical calculations and enhances mental agility, making it an excellent tool for students and teachers alike. However, the process of learning and application of Vedic Maths is not based on any religion.

What is Vedic Mathematics?
Vedic Mathematics is a collection of techniques and principles that streamline mathematical calculations. Discovered by Indian mathematician Jagadguru Swami Bharati Krishna Tirthaji Maharaj in the early 20th century, this system is based on sixteen sutras (aphorisms) and thirteen sub-sutras (corollaries). These sutras cover a wide range of mathematical operations, from basic arithmetic to advanced algebra and calculus. Given below are the Sutras, meaning,s and their applications.
